What this site collects.
The short version is that nothing leaves your browser unless you ask for a snapshot, and then only what is listed below goes to me, to be used for your snapshot.
The search check
Your five answers stay in your browser. They're saved in your browser's local storage so that refreshing the page doesn't lose them, and they're sent nowhere unless you ask for a snapshot. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
The snapshot request
When you ask for a snapshot, your browser sends the following to an automation service, n8n Cloud, on an account Danny de Vries owns:
- your company name, website, work email and role, and your phone number if you choose to give it;
- your five answers and the result the page showed you;
- the page address, the page that sent you here (if your browser shares it) and any campaign tags in the link, such as utm_source;
- the time you sent it.
n8n saves it as one row in a data table and emails a copy to Danny. It's used to build your snapshot from public data, to email it to you, and to follow up with you about it. It isn't sold, shared or used for advertising.
It's kept until the conversation about your snapshot is over or until you ask for it to be deleted, whichever comes first.
Booking a call
Booking runs on Zoom Scheduler, which opens in its own tab on Zoom's site when you choose to pick a time. Nothing from Zoom loads on this site. What you enter on the booking form is handled by Zoom under its own privacy policy and shared with Danny so he can prepare for the call.
Cookies, fonts and hosting
This site sets no cookies of its own, and its fonts are served from this site rather than from Google. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and protect the service.
Analytics
This site doesn't run analytics yet. If it does, it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, and this page will say so.
Our research data
The Utah index and the essays use public data only, meaning what any buyer can see on Google, on review sites, on websites and in AI answers. We publish aggregate figures and never name or rank an MSP.
Deleting your data
Write to support@dannydevries.com from the address you used and ask for your data to be deleted. Danny removes your row from the data table and the notification email from his inbox, and replies to confirm. You can also ask for a copy of what was sent. MSP Search Equity is run by Danny de Vries in Farmington, Utah.
